Who we are

Purkupojat Oy is a seller of new and used tractor parts in Pälkäne, Finland. The company was established more than 30 years ago as a breaker’s yard. Over the years, the business has grown to become the largest breaker’s yard specialised in tractor spare parts in Finland. The company began in 1987, when the parents of the current managers Antti and Lasse Lind founded Purkupojat Oy. The founders worked alone at first, until the first employee was soon hired, and the company slowly started to grow – tractors for dismantling were bought from all over Finland and Europe. The couple´s sons, Lasse and Antti, have also been working at the breaker’s yard from an early age. So it was only natural that Lasse and Antti jumped into the business together when the company was passed to the next generation in 2015.

The brothers, who had been following the business all their lives, set out to develop the business even further, adding new tractor spare parts to the range. New warehouses were built and even used spare parts started to be sold via the website. Online sales also gave a boost to foreign sales, where there was plenty of demand for both new and old spare parts.

Purkupojat now and in the future

Purkupojat currently employs 13 people and the company´s warehouse space has grown to around 6,000 square metres. The business is still run by brothers Lasse and Antti Lind, and the premises have remained in the same location in Pälkäne. In total, spare parts have been sent to 48 different countries – all continents except Antarctica. The dismantling business is still going strong, but B2B sales and the sale of new tractor spare parts both in Finland and abroad have become an increasingly important part of the business. Customers include large and small tractor workshops, tractor parts dealers and consumers.

Our trump card is a large stock of more than 100,000 spare parts, which means that we can always ship the goods quickly – often within a day of ordering. Our stock is also constantly expanding with both new and used tractor spare parts. Customer satisfaction is our top priority and we do everything we can to offer only the best quality, fast delivery and competitive prices."
